Description

Simple slaw with pantry friendly tuna can!

材料 (5-6 servings)

spring cabbage (thinly sliced)
500 g
carrot (peeled and shredded)
1/2 cup
fresh Italian parsley (finely chopped)
1/4 cup
skip jack tuna packed in olive oil
1 can (2oz)
 
for the dressing:
extra virgin olive oil
4 tablespoons (including oil from the tuna can)
raw apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon
fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon
freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
cane sugar
1 teaspoon

    Combine all the dressing ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

    Add cabbage/carrot/parsley/tuna.

    Toss well and season with additional salt/pepper as needed.

    Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors blend.

Using olive oil from the tuna can adds up an extra umami to the dressing.
